PAKISTAN: CHAMPION FOR PEACE

Zainab is a 22 year old girl from Pakistan studying Political Science in Kinnaird College, Lahore. She is an active member of the Kinnaird Political Science Club, which she loves.

Zainab loves taking part in acts of activism and has given a presentation on provincial women protection bill, participated in a discussion on conflict resolution and has taken part in an anti-terrorism poster competition.

She also has a passion for dramatics. She performed in a play called “Toba-Tek Singh” which reflects on the aftermath of the sub-continental division.

Zainab’s story reflects that women can be as intelligent, talented and dedicated as men when it comes to engaging with politics. This is very important in order to achieve gender quality and equity.

This was the story of Zainab Asif Dar by Alice.
